Electroplating
Electroplating is a process that uses electric current to form an articulate coating on mild steel, stainless steel, brass or copper. The electroplating process is primarily used to change the surface properties and color of an object (e.g. abrasion and wear resistance, corrosion protection, and decorative coatings). Powder Coating
Powder coating is a cost effective service that adds a more durable, eye-catching finish to a product. This process differs from a standard liquid paint in many ways. Powder coating is applied electrostatically as a free-flowing dry powder, and is then cured under heat at 425 degrees (Fahrenheit). This creates a hard finish that is much tougher than a conventional liquid paint that can be applied on various metals such as such as mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, copper and brass. The powder coating process we offer is environmentally friendly, emits nearly zero volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), and all overspray can be recycled for future use. At Four Star Metal Finishing Inc., we offer a large selection of colors, sheens, and textures. However, if we don’t have your color we can make a custom match to your specific needs. Electropolishing
Electropolishing is an electrochemical finishing process that removes a thin layer of material a metal part, typically stainless steel or similar alloys. The process leaves a shiny, smooth, ultra-clean surface finish.
Also known as electrochemical polishing, anodic polishing or electrolytic polishing, electropolishing is especially useful for polishing and deburring parts that are fragile or have complex geometries. Electropolishing improves surface finish by reducing surface roughness by up to 50%.

Baked Clear Coating
Clear coats are used for specific finishes that require a protective coating or need to be sealed from the natural environment. At Four Star Metal we use an acrylic bake clear coat for all of our antique finishes, we use an electrostatic spray gun which helps the lacquer wrap around each specific part.

Polishing and Buffing
Our polishing department can cover a vast field of products such as; chairs, stools, bars, pipe, tube, angles, spinnings, plates, tables, benches etc.. The two polished finishes we offer are satin (brushed), and mirror. Weld grinding and pre-polishing is also available for electroplated and powder coating finishes
Pickup & Delivery
Delivering our products in our trucks, no middle men.
Pick-up and delivery is available upon request to our local customers using our fleet of trucks, and trailers. Pricing will vary depending on the zone you are in. Minimum pick-up and delivery charge is $100.00, regardless of how big or small the load is.
